should gay marriage be legalised universally?

my socio political topic of interest is that same-sex marriage should be legalized universally.
i believe YES it should, because love is love and people should not be prohibited from marrying who they love, and want to spend the rest of their lives with. there are many arguments from religious leaders as to why gay marriage is bad, it goes against the way God intended it, naturally, a man and woman. people believe that gay is a choice and that you chose to be gay, you chose to spend your life with the same sex. ask any gay man or woman and they will tell you that it is not a choice, but that you're in fact born that way.

here are some links that are related to this topic.

many people argue that same marriage is going against the natural way of life and how humanity should be.

some points against same sex marriage:
1) it violates natural law: marriage is not just a relationship between humans beings, but a relationship rooted in and governed by natural law.
2) it always denies a child the love of either a father or a mother: the child (children) in the marriage/family are always denied the love of either a mother or a father, to teach them and raise them how they should be.  and will be raised by someone who has no blood relation to them.
3) it is not marriage:  calling something a marriage doesn't make it a marriage.
4) it promotes the homosexual lifestyle: no only saying that being a gay man or woman is okay, but being bisexual and transgender.
5) it turns a moral wrong into a civil rights problem: saying that civil rights problems include racial discrimination. sexual behavior and race are entirely different things.
6) it imposes it's acceptance into all society; by legalizing gay marriage we say it's okay when it is something that is not. meaning objecting parents will see their children exposed to new morality ideologies.
7) it isn't accepted in many religions, Christianity, Hinduism, Muslim, etc...

personally i stand for same-sex marriage. denying someone who is gay/lesbian the right to marry and live with the one they love, is like denying marriage in general to the masses. people say that it goes against the natural law of things, well homophobia is only evident in the human race, not in any other species. straight "natural" marriages actually have a higher divorce rate than gay marriages. so in a way it's saying that it isn't against natural law, and that same-sex couples truly and genuinely are in love, that whatever come their way they work through unlike resulting to divorce. same-sex marriage children are said to have the lack of either a father or a mother growing up, that is true, however many children grow up with a mother or a father and turn out fine. the fact is that no matter who the child's parent is they will be loved and nurtured. growing up in a same-sex marriage, having either two mums or two dads will be the norm for the child, they will be more open minded and accepting to various life situations. christians say that it is against Gods will and plan and that same-sex marriage is a sin. no where in the bible does it say that same-sex marriages are a sin. in Leviticus 18:22 "do not have sexual relations with a man as one would with a woman, it is detestable".
Leviticus is a book in the old testament which states many other laws too, such as, Leviticus 19:19 "do not wear clothes made from more than one material" 19:27 "do not cut your hair no shave"  21:17-18 "People who have flat noses, or is blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God". now these laws were given to the people of the old testament. The church of the New testament are based one new laws, God has cancelled out those laws, nearly everyone shaves and cuts their hair. everyone is allowed into the church regardless of their appearance, and i guess we should stone the fashion industry to death for fusing various materials to create normal everyday clothing. God himself hasn't ever stated in the bible that he is against same-sex marriage. i emailed the pastor of Hill-song, (the pastors advice) he said that their church is not against gay marriage or gay people and that God certainly doesn't hate gays. however the law of being moral stands, the same law that applies to heterosexuals. i am a christian, and i strongly believe that i am not living a condemned or cursed life. many people believe that being gay is a choice, if that were true, all the victims of criticism and bullying would choose to be straight in order to be accepted and belong. but that is not how it works, you're born that way, just as you can't choose your family, your race, your color, the same way you can't choose your sexual orientation. i think think the points against same-sex marriage is very rude and not well supported, gay marriage should be legalized universally, marriage is a matter of the heart, not of the mind and view points shaped by the misunderstanding and upbringing of certain people.
